Dolphins star, Emeka Atuloma is happy to help his teammates following his petition to the League Management Company (LMC) over the non-payment of their salaries, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Atuloma and his collegues have endured a torrid time at the club as they are yet to receive their pay this season.
That prompted the player to write a petition to the LMC seeking payment of his salaries and that of his teammates.
The League body on Monday acted on the petition and mandated the club to pay the players within 60 days or risked losing points.
Atuloma told Completesportsnigeria.com that he took the decision as he could no longer stand the hardship they were going through at the club.
"Things were tough at the club and I felt it was time for us to standup and do something about it.
"I just have to stand up on behalf of my collegues and that is what I did.
"Thank God the LMC have acted on the petition and the club is working hard to beat the deadline,".Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
