Dolphins of Port Harcourt have joined the race for the services of rivals, Sharks goaltender, Danladi Isa in the aftermath of the CAF Confederation Cup bound club’s deficiency in the goalkeeping department.
Isa who stood between the sticks for Sharks in the concluded season and first choice goalkeeper of the national beach soccer team, The Super Sand Eagles, is also on the shopping list of no fewer than four othe Glo Premier League sides, Sunshine Stars of Akure, Nasarawa United, Warri Wolves and Heartland of Owerri.
Dolphins want the massively built shot-stopper as option for captain Sunday Rotimi whose apparent loss of form forced Manager Stanley Eguma to keep him on the bench while Joseph Onwuga took the starting glove in the 0-1 loss to Enyimba Wednesday in the Super Six match-day three clash.
But Isa told Complete Sports Thursday he has not put pen to paper for any club.
“Frankly speaking, I’ve not signed for any club. As we speak, Heartland, the club I played for before moving to Sharks, want me back.
“Sunshine Stars also want me, same as Nasarawa United and Warri Wolves. Dolphins are also keen to have me but truth is that I’ve never signed for any of them”, Isa said in a manner of frankness.
He said he’s still in talks with the interested teams while asking God to help him make the right choice.
