Completesportsnigeria.com scooped that the players have shunned training this week to force the management of the club to pay their salaries.

Coach of the side, Stanley Eguma, has also stayed away from the team's camp due to the crisis.

Skipper of the side, Austine Festus, informed completesportsnigeria.com that they will not go back on their decision until their demands are met.

The erstwhile Bendel Insurance central defender further said they will also not play subsequent games in the league if the management of the club refuse to pay their  salaries.

"We are not going back on the decision to boycott the game against IfeanyiUbah," Festus told completesportsnigeria.com.

"The only the thing that can make us change our mind is if they (the management) pay us our salaries.

"We are not only going to boycott this weekend's game, but all the remaining fixtures this season."
Their Sharks counterparts, the other team owned by the Rivers State Government, have also refused to train this week over unpaid wages.

Dolphins who  are fighting to escape the drop occupy 17th place on the log.
