Julian Draxler’s agent has dismissed reports that the Paris Saint-Germain winger is on the verge of signing for Bayern Munich. Rumours persist that the Bundesliga giants are targeting the 24-year-old Germany international and want to get a deal down before the window closes at the end of the month.
According to Sport Bild, the Ligue 1 champions were set to offer the Germany international to the Bavarians in a possible exchange for Jerome Boateng, who has been linked with PSG all summer.
However, PSG are said to be unwilling to meet Bayern’s 50 million euros valuation of Boateng, and would look to include Draxler as part of any package to help get the deal over the line.
But Draxler’s representative, Roger Wittmann, made it quite clear what he felt of the report, telling Sport 1 that “of course Julian will stay in Paris”.
