Duke Udi Set To Become Rangers Coach

By Sab Osuji:

Former Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Enyimba of Aba midfielder, Duke Udi, is in talks with Enugu Rangers for a coaching job, completesportsnigeria.com reports exclusively.

Udi who had a coaching spell with Giwa FC is in Aba to observe Sunday’s match day 20 clash between Enyimba and Rangers.

If negotiations go through, Udi will fill the vacant position of chief coach at Rangers after ex-junior international, Imama Amamakabo, was elevated to the position of technical adviser following the sacking of Kelechi Emeteole midway into the first stanza of the league.

“The management (of Rangers) are looking for a coach to assist Amama and they have invited Duke Udi to discuss with him,” A Rangers official told completesportsnigeria.com in confidence.

“Right now Udi is in Aba to watch the match with Enyimba and after that he will negotiate with the management of Rangers.”
