Sean Dyche admits a lack of clinical finishing has stopped Burnley from making a positive start to the campaign. The Clarets boss, who has seen his team win only once in 13 matches in all competitions this campaign, was left to rue several missed chances as they were beaten by League One Burton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Kevin Long headed home Burnley’s 11th goal of the season on Tuesday as the Clarets fell to a 2-1 defeat at the Pirelli Stadium.

Dyche felt his side were lacking sharpness in front of goal once again and has urged his men to address the problem before it becomes more serious.
Dyche said: “We are missing that clinical edge, but that is so, so valuable in football.
“We’ve said it all season and it’s been my biggest bug-bear of the season. We can’t put our finger on it, but I don’t want to by hyper-critical because we’ve probably taken four out of eight really good chances last Saturday (in the 4-0 win at home to Bournemouth).
“We had control of the game (against Burton), but if you don’t take chances the opposition will at some stage and that’s what has happened.
“What we have to do is stay calm, stay resolute and keep making chances.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
