Members of the home-based Super Eagles are not happy with the standard of living at their Palace Hotel abode here in Ouagadougou, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Some of the players that spoke to Completesportsnigeria.com on the condition of anonymity said they had a torrid time all through the night due a they couldn’t have suitable sleep due to mosquito bites.
“I love the serenity of the environment here (Palace Hotel), but I must confess I didn’t have a sound sleep.
“The mosquitoes were just all over me,” one of the players told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Another player also said he had to call on the hotel attendants to change his room after he experienced the same thing.
He added: “The air conditioner in my room was not working and mosquitoes were all over the place.
“It was tough to bear with, but you know as a Nigerian man, we battle it through.”
The Eagles face Burkina Faso here in Ouagadougou on Sunday in the second leg of their African Nations Championship qualifier, having won the first leg 2-0 in Port Harcourt last week.
