AC Milan and Roma face competition from Crystal Palace for Valencia’s on-loan Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in January.
The Guardian claim Palace, who have been operating without a top-class striker for much of the season following an injury to Christian Benteke, have entered the race to sign the Belgian striker in January.
Valencia are ready to cancel the Chelsea player’s loan deal after Batshuayi failed to fit their system, where coach Marcelino has handed the 25-year-old only four La Liga starts – and none since October.
Milan and Roma have previously been reported to be admirers of the ex-Marseille and Standard Liege striker, who scored seven Bundesliga goals on loan at Borussia Dortmund in the second half of last season.Copyright © 2023 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
