The Super Eagles arrived the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo,Brazil late Tuesday night to begin their campaign in the FIFA World Cup which starts tomorrow.
Led by head coach,Stephen Keshi,the players were decked in black suits for the journey from their Miami,USA training camp to Sao Paulo.
On arrival,the team were expected to complete the journey to their camp base by road.
The Nigerians will play their first game on Monday June 16 against Iran as they seek their first win in three World Cup appearances.
Meanwhile,Rangers International of Enugu winger,Ejike Chrisantus Uzoenyi will join the team today from Nigeria.
Uzoenyi,a replacement for injured left back,Elderson Echiejile flew out of Lagos,Nigeria’s commercial capital last night aboard South African Airways.
This much was confirmed by Nigeria Football Federation assistant media director,Ademola Olajire.
‘Ejike left for Brazil last night aboard a South African Airways flight from Lagos.He will join the rest of the team later on Wednesday,”said Olajire.
