Super Eagles Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye, has informed Completesportsnigeria.com that the CHAN Eagles presently in Kano preparing to face Benin Republic in an August 13 African Nations Championship qualifier will on Friday play Kano Feeders in a friendly before they are released to join their respective clubs for this weekend's Nigeria Professional League games.
"The coaches will release the players to join their respective club sides on Friday for this weekend's game but before they go, a friendly match will be played against Kano Feeders and that is the programme on the ground for the players for now," Ibitoye told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"The NPFL clubs have shown some understanding and that is why coach Salisu Yusuf has agreed to release the players for the league fixtures."
