As plaudits continues to pour in following Vincent Enyeama earning his 100th international cap for the Super Eagles in Wednesday’s friendly match against Uganda, AS Monaco left-back Elderson Echiejile has described the feat as remarkable.
Enyeama who made his debut for the Eagles in 2002 against Kenya, was in goal on Wednesday but couldn’t prevent the Eagles from losing 1-0.
He joins former skipper Joseph Yobo as the only Nigerians to make 100 appearances for the country.
Echiejile who was not called up for the friendly games against Uganda and South Africa, went on to describe the Lille shot stopper as a dependable goalkeeper.
“Safe hands always! #VincentEnyeama100Caps. Congrats on this remarkable achievement,” Echiejile tweeted.
