By Adeboye Amosu:
Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma is desperate to see his side return to winning ways and also revive their title hopes following last weekend's 4-0 drubbing against title rivals Enugu Rangers, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Port Harcourt- based side will confront South South rivals Warri Wolves in a Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 35 fixture at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium on Saturday.
Anything short of a win in the tie could end their title hopes and the former Enyimba assistant coach is keen to see his side secure maximum points in the encounter.
"It is important to win against Warri Wolves and I'm sure we will accomplish that objective because the boys have worked very hard this week," Eguma told Rivers United Media.
"Wolves are in a precarious situation (in the table) and that makes them extremely dangerous.
"There will be no talk of underrating anyone because it makes no no sense to do that at this stage of the season."
