Nigeria won a silver medal in the 2015 All Africa Games men’s 100m as Ogho Oghene-Egwero finished in final on Monday.
Team Nigeria had three finalists in the 100m, including Seye Ogunlewe and N. Imhoaperamhe.
Ivory Coast had two runners, Ben Youssouf Meite who won the gold medal in the event with a time of 10.04 seconds, and Koffy Wilfred Hua who won bronze.
Also in the 100m women, Ivory Coast’s Adeline Gouenon won the gold medal.
Nigeria’s Tyrone Akin won a bronze medal in the 110m hurdles event for men also on Monday.
Akin returned in a time of 13.54 secs.
South African hurdler, Anthonio Ankana, won the gold medal with a time of 13.32 secs with Algerian hurdler, Lyes Mokdell, snatching the silver medal after breasting the tape in a time of 13.49 secs.
