Egwuekwe Wants More After First Finland Goal

By Johnny Edward:

Kuopio Palloseura defender Azubuike Egwuekwe has tasked his teammates to build on their first league win over FC Lahti when they host HIFK at the KuPS Sonera Stadium on Thursday, can report.

The Nigerian international who opened his goal account in the weekend told the Finish league's official website that he was more delighted about the win than his goal.

"I was, of course, very happy the first goal and the fact that we won the match," Egwuekwe said.

"Now we're playing well and we are fighting as a team. After three defeats we finally got a win and that shows we are improving.

"We play more consistently as a team and we attack and defend better as a team."
Egwuekwe has made four appearances and has scored once for Kuopio Palloseura who occupy the ninth spot in the 12-team league.
