Egypt have confirmed their qualification for the Gabon 2017 Africa Cup Nations after defeating Tanzania 2-0 in Dar es Salam on Saturday.
A brace from star winger Mohammed Salah sealed the qualification for Egypt
who will be returning to the AFCON for the first time since Angola 2010.
Salah put Egypt in front in the 44th minute.
In the second half, he doubled Egypt's lead in the 58th minute.
Egypt earn 10 points from four games, while Nigeria were eliminated after losing to the Pharaohs in March.
The 2006, 2008 and 2010 champions now join the trio of Cameroon, Morocco and Algeria who have earlier booked their places for the 2017 AFCON.
