Egypt coach, Hector Cuper has called -up five overseas-based players ahead of this month's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations double header against the Super Eagles of Nigeria..
The information was published on the Egypt football federation's website on Monday. Top on the list of the invited players are AS Roma Italy winger, Mohamed Salah and Arsenal midfielder, Mohamed Elneny.
The other overseas based stars invited by the Argentine gaffer for the qualifiers are Ahmed Hossan Kouka who plays for Portuguese side, Sporting Braga; Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan of Belgian side Anderlecht and Paneltolikos of Greece star, Amir Warda.
The list of local based stars will be released on Tuesday.
The first leg of the qualifiers will take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on March 25. The reverse fixture is billed for the Borg El- Arab Stadium in Alexandria four days later.
Egypt sit at the top of the Group G of the qualifiers with six points, two more than Nigeria who are second on the log.
