Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group G opponents Egypt will play three international friendlies ahead of their upcoming clash in March, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
According to a report on the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) official website the Pharaohs will tackle Burkina Faso twice, while the third game is set to be played in February against Romania or Uzbekistan.
"The team will play two friendlies against Burkina Faso in Cairo on 24 and January 28, and then play a friendly with Romania in February or Uzbekistan," Ihab Hath a member of the Federation Board of Directors and coordinator of the Egyptian national team was quoted on the EFA website.
Egypt who lead the group with six points from two games will face second placed Nigeria on four points twice on 23 and 27 March respectively in the Nations Cup qualifiers.
Egypt just like Nigeria qualified for the final group phase of the World Cup qualifiers following a 4-1 aggregate win over minnows Chad.
