Fresh reports emanating from Greece hint that Olympiakos have concluded plans to ensure Fenerbahce striker, Emmanuel Emenike signs the dotted lines in the coming weeks, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The former Spartak Moscow striker have been linked with several offers after he fell out of favour at Fenerbahce last season, but latest move by the Greek giants could well see the light of the day if Olympiakos can meet the demands of the yellow and blue canaries.
The former Nigeria striker is seen as an option for the club after Cameroonian striker Diumerci Mbokani failed medicals earlier in the week, prompting the Greek side to settle for the embattled Nigerian.
At this juncture, Emenike's transfer saga may have been finally laid to rest after Milliyet confirmed on Thursday night that Olympiakos is due to complete the deal any moment.
Emenike endured a sordid time at Fenerbahce under coach Dirk Advocaat after he was confined to the bench by the Dutch tactician. He scores eight goals and made five assists from 27 matches.
