By Johnny Edward: Former Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike scored his first pre-season goal for Fenerbache in their 3-1 win over Romanian side Voluntari on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ramazan Civelek and Melih Okutan scored the other goals to secure a first pre-season win for the former Turkish champions despite a late effort from Kone Hamed in the 89th minute.
Emenike calmly lobbed the on-rushing goalkeeper after he latched on to Gregory Van der Wiel's pass in the 13th minute of the encounter.
The goal was Emenike's first for Fenerbache since returning from a one-year loan spell where he played for Abu Dhabi side Al Ain and West Ham.
The Yellow Canaries face Panathinaikos in their next game on the 13th of July.
