Emenike Seeks End To Goal Drought Tonight

–As Fenerbahce confront Bursaspor in Turkish Cup game

Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike will be seeking to end his 10-weeks goal drought tonight when Fenerbahce travel to Bursaspor tonight for a Turkish cup game.

The Nigerian has scored only four times for Fenerbahce this season with his last goal coming last February 14 when he opened the flood gates of gates in his club’s 5-0 demolition of Gaziantespor in a Turkish Super Lig game.

Since then the top scorer in the 2013 AFCON in South Africa has gone eight games without a goal and tonight’s game presents him with an opportunity to stop the drought and increase his total haul for the season.

Emenike joined Fenerbahce from Spartak Moscow in August 2013 and scored 11 games from 30 games.
