England secured a series victory over India with a 60-run win in the fourth Test in Southampton. The tourists now trail 3-1 going into the fifth and final Test at the Oval, which begins next Friday, meaning England have wrapped up a series victory with a match to spare.
India needed 245 to win after England posted a second innings score of 271 but they were quickly reduced to 22-3 and from there on in there only ever looked to be one winner.
