Chelsea and West bromwich Albion have been charged by the English Football Association for improper conduct by their players.
This was made known by the FA on their official website on Friday.
The charges is in connection to an incident that occurred during their midweek clash at Stamford Bridge which ended 2-2.
A statement by the FA on their website reads: "Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion have both been charged for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion."
The charge relates to an incident which occurred around the 58th minute of their fixture on Wednesday 13 January 2016.
Both clubs have until 6pm on 20 January 2016 to respond to the charge.
Chelsea, who have had a terrible season, are 14th in the league, and will take on Everton at Stamford Bridge in this weekend's Premier League clash.
