Enyeama Mourns Victims Of Deadly Lagos Tanker Fire, Prays For Nigeria

Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has expressed his sadness at the disastrous Otedola Bridge fire in Lagos, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

A fully-loaded 33,000-litre fuel tanker exploded on the Otedola Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, killing many people and burning several vehicles in one of the worst fire incidents in Nigeria on Thursday night.

“God, let this sacrifice come to you. Let it be like the sweet smelling incense on your alter that will will provoke your power to revive and transform Nigeria.#RIP to the dead. Condonlences to the family and love one.#PrayForNigeria,” Enyeama Tweeted on Friday.

Meanwhile, Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode also tweeted: “Very sad day. The loss of lives in an accident like today is very painful. My prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.”

Lagosians have been advised to take alternate routes exiting the state to neigbouring states.
