Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama conceded his second goal of UEFA Champions League qualifying in Wednesday night’s 1-0 loss at home to FC Porto at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium.
The 32-year-old was beaten from close range by Mexican Herrera after he failed to keep out a powerful header from Jackson Martinez in the 61st minute of the encounter. The former Maccabi Tel Avi star made a total of four saves in the encounter. It was his fourth appearance in all competitions for his club this season.
He conceded his first goal in Lille’s 1-1 home draw against Grasshopper in the third round qualifiers.
In Slovenia Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose replaced Jo Inge Berget in Celtic’s 1-1 draw away to Maribor.
Ronny Deila’s side went ahead after just six minutes when midfielder Callum McGregor pounced on a loose ball to fire the visitors in front from close-range.
But the Scottish champions could not hold on to their lead and Damian Bohar boosted the Slovenian side’s hopes of qualification with an equaliser in the 14th minute.
