Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is seeking divine intervention from God after keeping two clean sheets for Lille in the League this season.
The 32 year old shot stopper produced two outstanding saves to help his French side record their first win of the Ligue 1 campaign against Caen last Sunday.
“Banging my drums with vibes from #sinach. God I look up to you for the season,” he posted on his instagram wall @vinny2908.
The former Enyimba and Macabi Haifa star who is expected to be named the new national team skipper produced a total of 96 saves helping Lille finish with the second-best defensive record in France’s elite division.
He began the 2013/14 season with an amazing streak of 21 clean sheets in 38 appearances (11 straight clean sheets from late September to early December) which catapulted Lille to a third-place finish.
Given last Friday’s display it appears Enyeama is picking up where he left off last term.
He is expected to be in goal for Lille this Saturday against Lorient after featuring in Wednesday night Uefa Champions League first play-off clash against Porto.
