–Super Eagles captain points way to AFCON ticket in Congo
Nigeria and Lille of France goaltender, Vincent Enyeama has posited that self belief in the potentials and abilities of the Super Eagles is the key for a possible win in Point Noire in theNovember 15 crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Standing third on the group A log with four points behind leaders, South Africa and second placed Congo with six points, Super Eagles risk missing out of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations slated for Morocco.
And only a likely triumph in Congo who edged the Eagles 3-2 in Calabar last month can put the reigning Africa champions’ hopes back on track for the Morocco 2015.
The Super Eagles captain says the players must believe in themselves and their potentials and capabilities as basic ingredients for the battle of Point Noire.
“I am one person that really believes in objectivity; I am an advocate for belief and I believe that we can always achieve that best no matter what and I know that we can still do it by God’s grace”, Enyeama said.
“It’s an important game for us, we’ve to give it our utmost best, each player giving his above 100% and with God on our side, why not?”, the former Enyimba of Aba goalie said.
