Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has undergone a successful surgery on his injured knee, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper who has been ruled out for the rest of the season posted a picture of himself in bed via his Twitter handle with a note thanking his fans for wishing him well.
"God bless you all for your numerous goodwill messages and wishes. It was done and it was successfully done.Thanks to God," Enyeama wrote on Wednesday.
Enyeama has kept eight clean sheets in 32 Ligue 1 appearances this term, conceding 40 goals and making 79 saves.
Lille are 11th in the Ligue 1 table with 40 points from 34 matches.
