Enyimba captain Chinedu Udoji stated defenders of the Aba-based side had a difficult time containing the threat posed by Dolphins striker, Emem Eduok.
Eduok scored Dolphins’ consolation goal in the second half on Sunday as his side lost 2-1 to holders, Enyimba, but Udoji hailed the qualities of the striker who scored 20 goals in the Glo Premier League.
“Eduok is a fine striker and we had a tough time stopping him in the game,” Udoji told CompleteSportsnigeria.com.
“They lost but in Emem, Dolphins have got a quality striker and it is no surprise that he recently got an invitation to the Super Eagles.
“Thankfully, we won the game to the glory of God,” Udoji said gleefully before he joined his team-mates and the joyous Enyimba fans who carried him shoulder high.
Udoji made two crucial clearances from the defence in the game.
