Enyimba coach, Paul Aigbogun, has warned his players they must be at their best against Etoile du Sahel if they want to make it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Peoples Elephant won the first leg 3-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Hacourt courtesy of a hat-trick by Mfon Udoh.
Etoile who beat CS Bizerte 2-0 in a league match on Saturday with forward Ahmed Akaichi grabbing a brace will need to score four goals without conceding to scale through to the next round.
Aigbogun said Etoile are wounded after the first leg result and will do all they can to overturn the deficit.
“Knowing the North Africans very well, they don’t believe the tie is over which is why we have to be very careful and not get complacent in the second leg,” Aigbogun told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We have seen instances in the past when three goals deficits were overturned. So, we must be focused and not allow the result of the first game get into our heads.
“We expect a tough fight from them, but we are fully ready for the task ahead.”
