Former African champions, Enyimba may have concluded plans to strengthen their squad for the challenge on the continent and domestic league next season.
The People’s Elephant will axe nine players from the squad while nine fresh new legs will be brought in.
The technical crew have been asked to submit a list of players that will be axed and a list of fresh players that will be brought in so that the management can start their transfer process, sources at the Aba side stated.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, informed sl10.ng that nine players will be brought in and nine will leave.
“As I speak to you now, we have been asked to bring in nine new players and nine will be dropped,” said the source.
“We have a tough season ahead of us, we shall be playing in the CAF Champions League, the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and Federation Cup next season so we need players that can stand the challenge through this period.”
