Enyimba, Stores Light Up Copa Lagos

–As feast of beach football gets underway today

Enyimba International and Lagos darling club, Stationary Stores will slug it out this afternoon at the Atlantic Beach of Eko Hotel in the opening match of this year’s edition of the Copa Lagos tournament.

In all, four matches will be played in the match-day fixtures of the tournament. Enyimba, winners of this year’s Federation Cup, will test their bech soccer skills against the Super Stores.

the two teams are making their debut in the tournament being sponsored by Kinetic Sports. According the fixtures released by the organizers, the People’s Elephant will file out against the Flaming Flamingos at 12.45 pm.

At 2pm, it will be the turn of FC Barcelona of Spain to confront Pepsi Academy beach soccer squad under the tutelage of Kashimawo Laloko.

Terranga Lions of Senegal will then file out against the Elephants of Ivory Coast at 3.15pmin the third match of the day as Lagosians get thrilled with feast of beach football.

Nigeria’s Beach Soccer National Team, Super Sand Eagles will test the might of perennial West Africa rivals, Ghana in the last match of the opening day of the tournament.
The game will kick off at 4.30pm.
