Former Nigeria international, Etim Esin, has expressed his disappointment over the Super Eagles 0-0 draw with Swaziland in the first leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
In a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, Esin berated the senior players in the team for their below par performance.
“I was very disappointed with the overall performance, the big boys didn’t come to the party despite all the names we paraded.
“For Swaziland, the draw is like a win for them, judging by the way they were jubilating after the final whistle.
“We are a super power in African football and we are expected to go to places like Swaziland and stamp our authority,” Esin lamented to Completesportsnigeria.com.
Esin charged the Eagles to secure a convincing win in the return leg on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
“The only way to calm Nigerians down is to come home and beat them (Swaziland). Not just beating them, they must beat them convincingly,” Esin said.
