Oghenekaro Etebo has emerged top scorer at the Africa U-23 Nations Cup in Senegal after netting a brace in the final of the competition against Algeria to increase his goal haul in the competition to five.
The Warri Wolves forward opened scoring for Samson Siasia's led side in the 14th minute from the spot and also got winner five minutes before the break.
Four of his goals in the competition came from the spot.
The talented hit man scored both two goals in Nigeria's 2-2 draw against Egypt in the group stage.
He also scored the winning goal from the spot as Nigeria beat hosts Senegal in the last four to book their place in the final.
His compatriot Junior Ajayi alongside South African duo Menzi Masuku and Gift. Motupa as well as Zinedine Ferhat (Algeria), Ibrahim Keita (Senegal) and Haythem Jouimi (Tunisia) all recorded two goals in the competition.
