Nigeria’s leading Chemical fluid management company, Eunisell will partner Sharks Football Club till the end of the season for an undisclosed fee, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The deal is seen as a move to encourage the private sector to take ample advantage of the Nigerian Premier League Clubs and partner more clubs, according to the Chairman of the League Management Committee, Alhaji Shehu Dikko.
Dikko in his remark also revealed that the LMC offered their expected advice to Sharks FC after securing the deal which saw so many waivers handed to Eunisell.
“We offered expected advice to Sharks as to the way they should go about the deal,” Dikko said.
“We have a benchmark for such deals, but we had to give some waivers to encourage the private sector to come in and partner our clubs.”
Dikko and the General Manager of Sharks, Okey Peluko, however refused to divulge the financial terms of the deal despite enquiry by the media during the unveiling.
“We want to keep the details of the contract to us and not for the public,” Peluko said.
Meanwhile Completesportsnigeria.com sources hinted that the deal is worth 15 million naira.
