Euro 2016: Holland Crash As Turkey, Croatia Qualify

Holland lost 3-2 to the Czech Republic on Tuesday night to crash out of the race for the 2016 European Championship.
On the same night, Turkey pipped Hungary to finish as best third-placed team and join Croatia in gaining automatic qualification. Hungary join Bosna and Herzegovina and Norway in the play-offs.
The defeat, in which Robin Van Persie scored an own goal and then one for his team, meant Holland finished fourth in Group A and miss out on the Euros for the first time since 1984.
The nine group winners and nine runners-up along with the third-placed side with the best record against the teams first, second, fourth and fifth in their section have qualified directly for the expanded 24-nation tournament in France.
Eight countries will be in in the play-offs in November; the draw holds on Sunday.
