It is really gladening to see Sam Chukwueze getting starting roles at villareal under this new gaffer….I really feared for him when the previous coach was sacked. It really shows the guy has got quality and his club believes in him, so much so a 30m euro release clause has been inserted into his contract. I just pray he continues to keep a level head and keep the mega bucks that is about to befall him in his bank account and not in his head.
As for Francis Uzoho, one cannot just but say enough of him. Only an enemy of progress will cast aspersions on this boy.
Do yo know that Elche has played 18 games this season…?
Do you know that they have only amassed 20 points in those 18 games
Do you know that Francis Uzoho has played just 5 games for them and in those 5 games they amassed 10 points (3 wins and 1 draw + 3 clean sheets & 2 MVP nominations).
That means half of the points Elche has earned this season were in games Francis Uzoho was in Goal. That for me is a pivotal role and its no coincidence.
If seeing him as the no 1 goalie in the SE creates turbulence in your stomach, pls get ready to endure that turbulence for another 10 years at least.

Efe Ambrose should be given a chance at least to fight for a place in the heart of the super eagles defence I know we are well loaded in that department but he deserves to be given a look in.I don’t agree in that school of thought that thinks he’s too old for crying out loud he’s just 30 and playing at a high level with all those experience chocked in the bin?a big lose for Nigeria indeed.
Another player who is really doing well is Paul Onuachu but he has to move to a better league and continue to score goals to swell his chances. He is tall and has got flair could play that role of Iheanacho and do a great job but Iheanacho plays for Leicester in the epl and would get the nod ahead of players who are doing so well in smaller leagues despite his poor run of form for both club and country.
