Nigerian duo, Paul Onuachu and Rilwan Hassan, were in action for their Danish club FC Midtjylland who beat Hungarian side Ferencvaros 3-1 in the second leg, second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Midtjylland progress into the third qualifying round 7-3 on aggregate.
Hassan played 90 minutes while Onuachu was replaced in the 46th minute.
Gustav Wikheim gave Midtjylland the lead in the 34th minute but Rui Pedro drew Ferencvaros level on 64 minute.
Midtjylland went 2-1 ahead through Rasmus Nissen in the 71st minute before Alexander Soerloth sealed the win with an 81st minute goal to end the game 3-1.

In another Europa League second qualifying round tie played on Thursday, former Flying Eagles forward, Alhaji Gero featured for his Swedish club Oestersunds FK who held Turkish giants Galatasaray to a 1-1 away draw to qualify into the third qualifying round 3-1 on aggregate.
Gero played the full 90 minute for the victorious Oestersunds in the game.
Brwa Nouri gave Oestersunds the lead in the 60th minute but Ahmet Calik equalised for Galatasaray on 69 minute.
