Liverpool and Sevilla will square off in the final of this season’s UEFA Europa Leagie after both won their semi-final ties on Thursday night.
In the second leg semi-final at Anfield, Liverpool defeated Villareal 3-0 to progress 3-1 on aggregate.
Goals from Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and an own-goal from Bruno Soriano secured the win for the Reds.
In the second semi-final, Sevilla beat visiting Shakhtar Donetsk 3-1 to go through 5-3 on aggregate.
A brace from Kevin Gameiro and a solitary strike from Mariano helped send Sevilla into their third straight Europa League final.
Former Arsenal forward, Eduardo, scored Shakhtar’s only goal.
The final comes up on Wednesday 18 May at St. Jakob-Park, Basel, Switzerland.
