Everton are reportedly ready to make a fresh attempt to land Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo in the January window. The Toffees were keen to bring in the Argentina international during the summer and had hoped to get him for a cut-price fee as he prepared to enter the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils were able to successfully negotiate a new four-year deal, while Everton opted for Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina instead to strengthen their backline. Despite those two additions, head coach Marco Silva is keen to see further reinforcements arrive and has been keeping a close eye on Rojo’s situation in Manchester.
Having failed to make a first-team appearance this season, it is understood United boss Jose Mourinho has sanctioned the sale of the 28-year-old in the new year.
Everton will not be alone in making a move for Rojo, with Wolves also thought to be keen after they also made a failed to attempt to bring in the South American during the summer.
It is believed a fee of around £8million might be enough to land Rojo, who is understood to earn around £100,000 per week on his present United deal.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
