English Premier League club Everton have joined newly crowned Scottish champions Celtic in the race for highly rated Nigerian forward, Henry Onyekuru.
According to The Sun, Everton are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer as Ronald Koeman looks to improve his squad to challenge for Champions League qualification in 2017-18.
The Sun reports that the Toffees are willing to pay £7 million for Onyekuru, which would put them in pole position to land the rising star who has been making waves in Belgium in the last 12 months.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has stated that he wants to add a couple of new faces to his Parkhead squad this summer and that he will focus on quality, not quantity with Onyekuru tipped as one of the players he is targeting.
Onyekuru has been in good scoring form for Eupen so far this season, netting12 goals in 28 starts.
