Former Nigeria U-17, U-20 and U-23 midfielder Olaitan Otubanjo tied the knots with his long-time girlfriend Olagbayi Lolade in Lagos on Thursday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Otubanjo, who now joins the long list of footballers who have quit bachelorhood this summer, consummated his union with Lolade at the Ikoyi Registry, Lagos.
Olaitan whose 28 goals in the Austrian Regionalliga division helped FC Blau-Weiß Linz gain promotion to the football 1.Liga, which is the second division in Austria, was excited at his new status.
"I'm happy to have sealed a lifetime date with my best friend Lolade," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Otubanjo featured for the Golden Eaglets side that won silver at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Abuja and was in the U-23 team that failed to qualify for the 2011 All Africa Games.
