By James Agberebi: Nigeria international Shehu Abdullahi is backing the home-based Super Eagles to be successful at the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) holding in Morocco, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.
This year’s CHAN will run from January 13 to February 4 in Morocco.
The home-based Eagles are in Group C alongside Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda and Libya.
They will take on Rwanda in their first group game in Tangier on January 15.
“Best of luck guys! I’m behind the group. Success!” Anorthosis defender Abdullahi wrote on Twitter on Wednesday .
Abdullahi, who helped the Super Eagles qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, was part of the home-based Eagles squad that finished third at the 2014 CHAN in South Africa under the late Stephen Keshi.
