Rivers United are the only Ngerian side remaining in the continent, after the ousting of Enugu Rangers, FC Ifeayiubah and Wikki Tourists. But the Pride of Rivers have recorded poor run in the Group A of the CAF Confederation Cup and now have any good chance of advancing to the next stage.
