Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery insists he’s open to any job opening but claims he’s not been approached for the Arsenal job despite being heavily linked with the Gunners.
The Spaniard, who achieved Europa League success with La La Liga side Sevilla, said he’s ready to go back straight into management days after being relieved of his job with the Parisiens following Champions League disappointment.
While Emery is ready for a new opportunity, the 46-year-old said he was yet to receive an offer from Arsenal.
“I have no offer,” he told Cadena SER. “Possibilities open up that can be concrete or not. I am open to everything. I don’t think about stopping coaching.”
Emery led PSG to the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue this season, while he previously won the Europa League three times at the helm of Sevilla.
The Spaniard has been linked to the Premier League giants as Arsene Wenger’s replacement after his two-season stay at Paris Saint-Germain came to an end.
Wenger also stepped down after 22-years at the London club during which he won three Premier League titles but could only reach the Champions League final once – beaten in 2006 by Barcelona – in that time.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
