What Is Your Expectation From Congo Vs Nigeria Today?

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will this afternoon (Saturday, November 15) in Pointe Noire play a crucial 2015 AFCON qualifier against the Red Devils of Congo.

Nigeria need an emphatic win- by two clear goals, but anything short of a victory (draw or defeat) virtually eliminates the African champions from next year’s tournament, now to be staged by Equatorial Guinea.

The Eagles have been abysmal in the qualifiers so far; with one win, one draw and two defeats but there is cautious optimism that the team will get the victory that they need.

Do you think Stephen Keshi’s team will defeat Congo and get their chances of reaching Equatorial Guinea 2015 enhanced or has Nigeria’s chances of defending their 2013 African Cup of Nations title evaporated?

i expect to see the Super Eagles rise up to the congo challenge, and to show them the real champion of which they are:It is a test of the typical Nigerian spirit , the stuff Nigerian players are made of,and the quality of our technical crew.FOR DARING TO INSULT THE CHAMPION ON ITS OWN SOIL THEY MUST BE GIVEN A BLOODY NOSE.

  • Keshi needs to start with Aaron Samuel and IK Uche with Musa upfront to open up the strongly built Congolese defence. the midfield should keep control of the ball, play neat passes and make long-range pass once in a while. the full backs should support the attack occasionally by making crosses into the opponents box but I wonder if Efe will be able to do that as he is very sluggish. http://www.okeymartins.blogspot.com
