Despite not playing a single minute in the two friendlies against Poland and Serbia, Lokomotiv Plovdiv of Bulgaria defender Stephen Eze has revealed he had a great time with the Super Eagles squad, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Eze was one of the players invited for the two friendlies with the Eagles pipping Poland 1-0 before losing 2-0 to Serbia.
He also expressed hope that he will get the chance to play for Gernot Rohr side when the opportunity comes.
“Had a wonderful experience in friendlies against Poland and Serbia . Will always cherish being a part of Super Eagles,” Eze tweeted on Friday.
“The love and support I received makes me feel very blessed! Looking forward to representing my country in future and to make you all proud.”
Eze was a member of the Home-based Super Eagles squad that finished second at this year’s Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
