Manu Garba’s men started their campaign at the 19th African Youth Championship on an impressive note, edging out host Senegal 3-1 in the opening game of the competition.
Next on the line for the seven-time Champion is Congo who were held to a one all draw by Cote d’l voire on Sunday.
A win for the Flying Eagles should see them book a place in the last four and also qualify for the U-20 World Cup.
And Ezeh, one of Nigeria’s brightest star in the competition is relishing the prospect of facing the Congolese.
The Porto of Portugal starlet said the team has put behind them the win against Senegal and are now firmly focused on the task ahead.
”It’s good that we started the competition on a winning note but it’s important that we focus on the task ahead,”begins the former U-17 star in an exclusive chat with Completesportsnigeria.com
”Our target is to win the next game against Congo which hopefully will help us qualify for the semi-final and also the World Cup.
”Everyone is looking forward to the game and hopefully we shall celebrate at the end of the day,” Eze remarked.
