Nigerian forward, Imoh Ezekiel, has officially terminated his contract with his Turkish club, Konyaspor, over breach of agreement, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ezekiel who failed to rediscover his goalscoring form at Konyaspor was not well treated by the club in the last six months according to his representative, Haji Liammed Gafaar.
“Imoh has terminated his contract and he is a free player now,” Gafaar told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“All what he was promised by Konyaspor when he signed, none of them were fulfilled, and in those conditions it’s difficult for a young player like Imoh to thrive. He is a young player with a lot of potentials.”
Ezekiel signed a three year deal with Konyaspor worth £3.75m last summer from Qatari side, Al Arabi.
Istanbul Başakşehir striker Mehmet Batdal is set to replace the Nigerian at the club.
