Ezenwa: Home Eagles Not Under Pressure Vs Libya; Weather Not A Problem

By Johnny Edward:
Home Eagles captain Ikechukwu Ezenwa feels that the team is not under pressure going into their crucial game against Libya on Friday at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.

Ezenwa noted that the team have put behind them their opening day 0-0 draw with Rwanda and are confident they can record their first win of the competition at the expense of Group C leaders Libya.

Libya defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in their opening fixture on Monday.

“It’s a thing of the past but we need to fix the present which is the game against Libya. The coach has spoken to the team ahead of the game and we are not under any pressure,” Ezenwa said during the pre-match conference on Thursday.

“We just have to be focused.”

On the cold weather in Morocco, the Enyimba goalkeeper revealed that the team is gradually acclimatizing.

“Yesterday (Wednesday) we trained with short sleeves because it was warm but after a while the weather changed again,” Ezenwa revealed laughing.

“It won’t be a problem for us as we remain focused to win the game against Libya.”

They are there posting pics in front of hotel while others are training. After they will come up with the ball was not good or been unlucky

  • Ezenwa our goalie and capito, in the Rwanda game, you dey holiday and dem no test you well well. The weather must have affected you as you were mostly inactive unlike the outfield player who were busy not to be defeated but defeat Rwanda. This time it is Libya who have already won their 1st game and sitting on top of the group. I guess you have studied the Libyan last game and know how they attack so as to organize the defence. Stop this weather thing as it has already revealed that you are actually vey much concerned about the weather. Jos would have been the ideal place to camp before heading to Morocco. If this was not the case it is a rare minus on the part of the NFF technical department. Abyways, you are already in Morocco and so get the best out of the situation. You are Nigerians and Nigeria no dey carry last. In this situation, if it too bad, na 2nd Nigerians dey pray for and then in the knockout stage, we know what to do. I wish the boys all the best.

Nigeria Wont Cross The Group Stage because you have allowed Merit to slip away!
Dayo Ojo has become a second Fiddle to Fading Rabiu “Pele” Ali? Hmmmmmm does it mean That Oladapo is not fit to combine with Dayo Ojo 4/10 Combo? A Lacklustre Okpotu who messed Up at WAFU CUP is considered ahead of other Strikers! Simply, SALISU YUSUF and et al are not capable of managing (Not Handling) the Eagles B Team!
Drawing the Staff attention to The Chipolopolo’s Quest in lifting the CHAN, They drew 8 Players from ZANACO FC, 6 From ZECO UNITED, 5 From POWER DYNAMOS and et al. They not only ensured that these players are in top shape but regularly since qualifying for CHAn have had close to 5 Short CAMPING towards harnessing and deepening the Players Understanding and Unit form. Augustine Mulenga Plays for ZANAFO FC and he has been very CLINICAL! (An Alex Iwobi Single Touch Style). ZAMBIA is ready to crush all (3-1 Uganda, 2-0 Cote D’iviore).
Before i move into Morocco Excellence. It is noteworthy to Point out to Salisu and Imama that ZAMBIA always have at least two teams in CAF TOURNAMENT LAST 8. the benefits are enormous and have shown in these ongoing CHAN 2018. ZANACO FC, ZESCO UNITED FC, POWER DYNAMOS et al.
The Atlas Lions Of MOROCCO have assembled an array of the best Players in The MOROCCAN LEAGUE; dominated by WYDAD CASABLANCA players who lifted the CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! Bencharki is the Man who led them to the Triumph! Bencharki is a STAR who has made enormous contributions in the ATLAS LIONS performance in CHAN 2018.

Lessons: Firstly, I foresee a ZAMBIA v MOROCCO Final
Eagles Cannot win against an organised and coordinated LIBYAN team
    Eagles have failed to Fly
Rabiu Ali should be dropped for the entire tournament (shouldnt have been taken to CHAN 2018)
Self-Interest has affected the selection process of CHAN 2018; Theophilus Afelokhai is far ahead of Ikechukwu Ezenwa (But now i heard TA is injured) funny sometimes
Faleye should always start from the Bench ( No Champions League Experience, he hasnt played outside of Nigeria and not well composed upfront)
Okpotu should engage in additional Ball Gripping and controlling training (that is if the EAGLES cross the GROUP STAGE but i foresee the end of the road today)
Dayo Ojo and oladapo should from today be the lead Midfielders and Rabiu Ali/Ifeanyi Ifeanyi Should start from the Bench
Salisu and his backroom Staff with a matter of Urgency go on YOUTUBE to DOWNLOAD LIBYA and EQUATORIAL GUINEA MATCHES AND have a classroom Video Analysis with the PLAYERS and other tactical NEEDS… FOOTBALL COACHING has gone SCIENTIFIC and CLASSROOM STYLE

Eagles B are more concerned about who scores rather than the Team wins! even defender are shooting from outside rather than connect the Attackers.
I Hope these Lads will understand Team work rather than Individual GOAL
