Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa will depart for London Wednesday morning for Nigeria's two international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The FC Ifeanyiubah goalkeeper disclosed this piece of information to Completesportsnigeria.com as the Eagles camp is almost full ahead of the tune-up matches to be played at Barnet FC's home ground, The Hive, on Thursday and Monday.
"My flight to London will be on Wednesday by 11.30pm. I'll be leaving from Lagos aboard Med View Airline," Ezenwa, the only home-based player in the squad, told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I will be arriving London by 5.30pm. I don't know if I can make the evening training but whatever be the case what matters most is that the team bonds and hopefully win the two friendlies.
"I can't say for now if my late arrival will rule me out of Thursday's game against Senegal. If it does, there's still the Monday game against Burkina Faso to look forward to.
"It's an honour to be in the team and I won't take this chance for granted. It was just unfortunate my visa did not get to me on time."
The Super Eagles camp has 18 players so far (on Tuesday morning) in attendance with the rest of the players expected between Tuesday and Wednesday although Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses has been excused from the friendlies due to injury.
